Meet our Transitional Pastors

Pastor Bill and Pastor Emily with the CPC Sign

Central Presbyterian Church is excited to welcome our Transitional Pastors.

Reverend Dr. Bill Hess is joining us as our new temporary co-pastor and as head of staff will be responsible for guiding CPC and helping shape our vision for the future. Bill is recently retired as Senior Pastor after 26 years at First Presbyterian Church in West Chester, and brings a great deal of leadership and experience to the position. Bill received his Doctorate from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and has been a friend to CPC for over two decades. He knows our history well, feels truly called to help CPC in our new beginnings, and along with his wife Beverly, are looking forward to becoming an integral part of our work at CPC.

Reverend Emily Chudy will also be taking over a role as temporary co-pastor responsible for Family Ministry, directing Christian Education and much of the programming at CPC. We have been blessed to have Emily’s leadership for the summer months and are delighted to ordain her in an expanded role of guiding our program ministry.  Emily is a 2012 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, where she received her Masters of Divinity and her MA in Youth Ministry.
