Music Ministry

Central Presbyterian Church has an active and diverse music ministry which serves regularly in worship and special events.  Currently we have both the Praise Team and the Summer Choir leading a great new breeze of collaborative worship this summer!  The Praise Team Coordinator is Amy Lisk and the Music Leader is Bob Clark.  The Summer Choir/Chancel Choir is led by Anne Cowburn.  Jane Beam and Debra Rodgers serve as pianist and organist.

Youth choirs will continue in the Fall with directors Debbie Shupp, Emily Lucas and Amy Lisk.  The CPC Bell Choir, which will be led by Alexandra Barainyak, will also begin rehearsing in the Fall to lead worship and to prepare for their trip to England in the summer of 2013.

To wrap up our 150th Anniversary Celebration watch for the opportunity to rehearse and present an all church musical, Robert Ray’s “Gospel Mass.”

You are invited to participate in the music ministry at CPC!  Come lift your voice in song with the Summer Choir, which will gather to prepare music for the service at 8:45 am on Sunday mornings through September 9.
