Children's Ministry
Welcome Children, Youth, and Families!
We’re so glad that you are interested in learning more about our Children’s Ministry! Each week, through age-appropriate Sunday School classes and midweek youth groups, children are encouraged to worship and learn in an environment where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve, and then go share Christ in the world!
We have a team of dedicated teachers and assistants who give of their time each week to help your children learn about God and grow to love Him more. All teachers and assistants complete a National Background Check and PA State Clearances. Also, all of our classrooms are handicap accessible. We seek to minister to all children, and provide individual aides for those children who need extra assistance in the classroom.

Nursery
**Nursery care available during all services**
Birth to 2 (Precious Ones), and Ages 2 to 4 (Little Lambs)
Our Nursery Coordinator, Mrs. Jane Cronauer leads our Nursery staff and parent partners to offer a loving, safe and nurturing time for our littlest ones. Our Little Lambs also enjoy a Bible time and activity.
KidZone Worship
Sundays 8:30 and 11:30
Children Ages 5* through Grade 2
During the 8:30 and 11:30 Worship Services a special Children’s Sermon is provided. Our children (and adults too!) love to listen to the short sermon taught on the theme our Pastor will be preaching. After the Children’s Sermon, children are dismissed to KidZone Worship for a time of singing, crafts, games, and Bible stories.
*During the 11:30 Service only ages 3-4 years are also dismissed to KidZone Worship, as programs for Preschool and Elementary are combined at this hour.
Children/Youth Sunday School
Sundays 10:00-11:00 AM
Our dedicated Sunday School hour is intentionally structured into age-appropriate “small groups” for children from age 3 to Grade 12. We are blessed to have many gifted and committed Bible teachers who love children and serve each class from September-June. Two adults serve in each class. New students are always welcome!
Children ages 3 through Grade 8
We are “walking” together in Christ using the David C Cook “Bible-In-Life Reformation Press” curriculum. Our children and youth are led through the Bible in a kid-friendly way, helping them to KNOW Jesus Christ personally, GROW in their faith, and SHOW others His love through service and godly choices. We have partnered using this particular curriculum for its commitment to helping children build community, celebrate diversity, teach effectively to diverse learning styles, and not forget to have FUN!
Youth in Grades 9-12
Teens meet together in our youth room along with a number of adult youth leaders. Currently we are studying the book of John, digging into the life of Jesus and applying the lessons to everyday life. Come see our newly redesigned youth room, set up in a café-style setting, perfect for hanging out and meeting in small groups!
Confirmation Class (Grade 9 and Up)
This year Confirmation Class will be meeting Sunday afternoons from 3-5pm from January-March. During this class we will learn what it means to be a Christian, how to study the Bible, and how to apply our faith in real life! Students will also have the opportunity to be confirmed as a member of the church at the completion of the class.
