Kids and Youth at Central

At Central we care deeply about connecting with the youngest in our community and believe that all are called to Christ’s ministry regardless of age.

We offer programming for all ages on Sunday mornings, and we also host our Tween group & Youth Group on Wednesday nights. Details on all our programming is below.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Worship

Regardless of age, children are always welcome in Sunday Worship. If you are visiting for the first time, or if your children just prefer to stay with you they are always welcome to stay for the full service. Should you wish to try out our other offerings, we have options for you!

During Service

  • Our Nurseryis open all morning for children ages 0-3. Children can be dropped off at any point in Room 118.

  • Our gathering for age 4 (by September 1st of the current year) through Grade 2. Children start out in worship and then leave the service following "Time at the Table" and head to a child friendly lesson and games.

  • Meeting every other Sunday, we offer an extra time of learning and fun for our 3rd-6th graders. Kids will start in the Worship service, and then leave following "Time at the Table." They can be picked up from the Youth Room when service ends. *This group is currently on break until the new school year begins.

Faith Formation Hour

There is programming for all-ages during our Faith Formation Hour from 10:45-11:30 a.m. Our Nursery remains open for those 0-3, and then we have classes for 4 year olds - 5th grade, and 6th-12th graders. More information on current activities in these classes can be found here.

Wednesday Night Youth

Every Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. CPC Youth (Grades 4-12) are invited for a night just for them! We have Youth Music Hour, dinner together, and then our Tweens (4th & 5th grade) & 6Plus (6th-12th graders) will have some group time to hang out, play games, and learn and grow together.

Youth Music

  • Students in grades 4-12 are all invited to use their creativity, or try something new during our Youth Music Hour. We have a Chapel Choir, Youth Handbell Choir, and even do an annual Youth musical!

Tweens

  • Our Tween Group for students currently in grades 4-6

  • 6-7 pm: Music

    7-8 pm: Youth Group

IMPACT Youth

  • IMPACT Youth is for students currently in 7th-12th grades.

  • 6-7 pm: Music

    7-8 pm: Youth Group
