Back by popular demand! This class is a “summer rerun” of the mini-series we did back in February/March. With other adult classes on hiatus, this is a chance for members of those classes to enjoy this series.  If you attended this series last winter, feel free to pop in for any sessions that you missed.

A 5-week class beginning Sunday, June 22nd
“Everything happens for a reason.”
“God helps those who help themselves.”
“God won’t give you more than you can handle.”
“God said it, I believe it, that settles it.”
“Love the sinner, hate the sin.” 

They are simple phrases. They sound Christian—like something you might find in the Bible. We’ve all heard them, maybe we’ve said them. They capture some element of truth, yet they miss the point in important ways.

Join us to discover a new perspective on these sayings.  Each week we will view a 10-minute video on one phrase and then have a casual discussion.  Each class session is independent, so it’s ok if you can’t come every week.  And there is no homework, so drop in anytime!

This mini-series class will run for 5 sessions on Sundays from 10:45 to 11:45 am in room 107-109.  Please note that there is no class on July 6.
